Driver recognizes when they are missing braking and turn-in points, missing apexes and generally driving less than the ideal line. Driver can describe the process that created the error and how to correct the error.

The driver should be able to recognize and describe the appropriate place in any given turn where they can smoothly and safely apply throttle inputs. In most cases, if a driver is applying throttle before apex, they have overslowed for a turn.
Your vehicle must be in good working condition with no mechanical problems.

Your brakes should be in good working order.
You should have at least half your brake pads left, and your brake fluid should be clean and brake reservoir full of fluid.
Check to be sure your brake lights work.
Torque your lug nuts to factory specs.
Check your oil, coolant, and transmission fluid.
